tres bon vin Francais.
Salutations.
Translation:
I did receive the wine. I opened a bottle and confirm that it is amazing.
Honestly, in a blind tasting, I challenge any wine connoisseur to say that it is not a great french wine. I hope that the owner will continue in making wines the same way and not listen to people asking for more oaky tastes that we find at all the corner of America.
I hope that you have more because I am going to taste the French community in NY and I am sure that they will love it and contact you.
Patrick Fraillon,
I picked up a bottle of your 2006 Merlot at the Portland airport because I wanted to sample a wine from Oregon. (I spend a lot of time in Argentina and normally drink Malbec from South America)….
Offerings from boutique wineries can be hit or miss…in the case of your merlot, a definite hit. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality (structure, tanins and medium finish)and taste (ripe fruit with a hint of spice) of your Merlot!
Salud,
