The month of December is about communities coming together. In recognition of this, we have a month long event called The Celebration of Giving. This annual event has become an important tradition for the Cliff Creek family. Every year we partner with two local charities. With the help of our amazing and generous customers, we support these organizations by donating both monetarily and with dropped off goods. Please read below about these wonderful organizations.
In Newberg, we are partnering with The Hillside Inn.
The Inn is a home for young adults ages 18-30 who are in transition or need respite. Residents of the Inn prepare and share in meals together, participate in book discussions, and have the opportunity to receive mentorship. Their hope is that individuals who live at the Inn will leave equipped to go out into their families, faith communities, and cultures with the tools they need to flourish.
We will be collecting the following items for Hillside Inn:
At the Vineyard, we’re partnering with United Methodist Church of Gold Hill to collect food for their “Backpacks for Kids” program.
The “Backpacks for Kids” program works with a few local schools to supply backpacks full of food for children in need. This provides additional nutrition through each weekend, when they don’t have access to school breakfast & lunch programs, for children who may not be getting enough to eat at home.
We will be collecting donations of backpacks (used backpacks are accepted) and/or nutritious, easy to prepare
(for a child), non-perishable foods, such as:
Tuna/canned meats Apples or Oranges
100% Juice Dried fruit
Peanut/nut butters Fruit cups
Shelf stable milk Goldfish/Crackers
Instant Oatmeal Granola bars
Cold Cereal or Granola Cup-O-Noodle
