Cliff Creek Cellars 2004 Claret and Red Red Wine Table
makes the 2010 Food and Wine Buyers Guide

Cliff Creek accounted for two of the 18 Oregon reds recommended in the guide.

This comprehensive guide is issued every year to be used by trade and consumers.  We are honored they have chosen two of our wines to be on their list.  The 2004 Claret  and our Red, Red Wine, Red Table Wine both received 3 stars out of 4.  Exceptional.

They called our 2004 Claret a “complex mineral-laden Bordeaux-style blend oozing black fruit and earth flavors, balanced by firm tannins and acidity.”

And for our 2007 Red Red Wine,  ”This splendid wine comes at a phenomenally low price. Sensual flavors of earth, dark plum and herbs are accented by cocoa, graphite and licorice.”

There was a lovely article in January’s issue of the Oregon Wine Press on the life and legacy of Vern Garvin.

We were mentioned in an October 17th, article in the Oregonian, “Popping Corks in Carlton.”  Follow the link to read more:   http://www.oregonlive.com/travel/index.ssf/2009/10/popping_corks_in_carlton.html

Be sure to read all the way to the bottom for a quote from Ruth.

We were recently reviewed by an ambitious local wine blogger named Tamara, who has endeavored to visit every wine tasting room in Oregon in one year’s time and… blog about them.  The following is a link to her blog: http://sipwithme.blogspot.com/2009/10/walk-day-in-my-vineyard.html

It might inspire you.
