2015 Sangiovese
Our Small acreage of Sangiovese continues to be a crowd Favorite. This block was planted next to the large hay barn. We are pretty sure that reflection of the two-story silver barn is what causes this block to be the first to show signs of bud swell in the spring. It has its own little greenhouse effect. This helps the varietal grow to beautiful ripeness and balance.

Vineyard Notes
The spring gave us a warm and flowering and fruit set with a high quality of fruit. The rest of the year gave the vineyard a long growing season with very little frost pressure in the spring or the fall. We had an average heat index that got us through a harvest ending in late October.
